I bought it as soon as it was released. The premise of the book was an interesting idea, but the book fell flat except for the last 8 pages. In this book, Sparks creates a love triangle between Beth, the single mom, Logan, the Iraqi war vet, and Clayton, the ex-husband to Beth. Clayton is a horrible man and father, and when he thinks Beth might become involved with Logan, he threatens to destroy them. The ending is quite suspensful and satisfying.
