Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Soundtrack yo an unseen Movie
This cd goes beyond the bounds of soundtracks. It must be heard to truly get the effect they were trying to relay. A MUST for Jeff's fans.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Instrumental Collaboration
Actually, this is more like 4 stars, but I snuck in a bonus star because this disc put me in a good mood.

If you're a fan of Jeff Beck's instrumental works, you'll probably love this disc. Much of the music is etherial stuff that evokes a sense of space and combines a sort of new-age lax attitude with subtle tension. Elements of bands like Shadowfax, Dire Straits and even a touch of Pink Floyd linger here and there in the keys, but the guitar is pure Beck. The flow of the disc is ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Jeff Beck best kept secret
This is Jeff Beck's best kept secret. The music is very expressive and covers many styles, much enhanced, it goes without saying, with sizzling riffs from the master. A must-have for any serious Jeff Beck admirer.

Being released in January '93, it makes a nice bridge between Jeff's 3 CD boxed set (Beckology - November '91) and his Gene Vincent/Cliff Gallup project with The Big Town Playboys (Crazy Legs - June '93). Now if only Epic would step up and put out a CD of his other soundtrack contributions ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Soundtrack
This soundtrack was from the movie, "Frankie's House" about photojournalists in the Viet Nam war. The movie was a made for cable feature that followed the life of Tim Page during his stay in the war. Errol Flynn's son, Sean also saw action in Nam behind a camera, and he is the supporting character in the film. I remember the movie being good, but it must have not received a large audience as the movie doesn't appear to have been release to the video market. While watching the movie, I thought that the sound ... Read More
