Although I already had a blower, I bought this one because I wanted to buy the Weedeater Gutter Attachment to clean gutters and saw that a lot of people had problems connecting other blowers (especially ones that didn't have a round exit tube) to the Gutter Attachment. And I thought it couldn't hurt to have another blower - two of us could use blowers at the same time.
