 Rating: - A good gate for a good priceI think this is a great gate for the price. The instructions are no help though so you are on your own to figure out how to set it up. The natural wood makes it inconspicuous and I really like the simple design. Rating:  - It comes in handyWe have 3 of these gates and love them. They work great and were easy to install. My son still cannot get over or through these gates. He sometimes stands on them, but cannot get them open. We've had them for almost 2 years now and still use them daily. This one is the best one yet!! I use to have a hands free swing gate. This limits the width of the opening. You need to aim in the middle. The Evenflo gate will swing all the way open and give you the entire width of the opening that you are blocking. It is low enough that I just straddle over it or undo the latch. Rating: - PerfectWe currently live in housing on base in Germany and the stairs are very wide and unusual. I got this gate since it is made for the top of the stairs and was wide enough for our staircase. It works great! I love that it slides to the side as well as opens.
