Editorial Review: Product Description: Commonly used tunings. Well-suited for blues, rock, country, folk, and jazz. They're more airtight, easier to bend, and better sounding than many harps. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - They brake easyI have played this brand of harmonicas for 3 years. AND THEY BRAKE FAST. Some people say it's the SPEACIL 20's that brake fast. BUT!!! What about these.I go through 6-7 of the LEE OSKERS a year. Play a couple hours a day. They have a problem of GOING SILENT ( reeds sticking ), during playing after about 1 month.BUT YOU CAN GET REAL "GRITTY,GRINDING BLUES" on the low # holes. COMPARED with deep sounding on the SPEACIL 20's, which are more MELLOW. BOTH ARE GOOD, but if your harmonicas are lasting longer ... I've, played them for 2 years ( 1 hour a day ), and you can count on them brakeing in 2 months. That is normal. A band player has to go through these things like crazy. They do sound good for a while, BUT...after a couple of weeks the 5 hole and up....sound very SQUEEKY, High pitch tin sound. It is true SPEACIL 20's sound warmer. Also the BLOW REEDS tend to brake , way more than the in-hale reeds. One thing , I can promise you is this....THE ... I've been playing harps for 20 years, since I picked up my first Koch in Music Plus (a long gone store) at the local mall. I've been through several Hohners, ranging in price from $10 to $60, but none of them compare to this. I have been able to bend incredibly well on this harp, and I have even been able to play the Beatles' Love me Do and Black Sabbath's The Wizard on this harp much more easily than on any of the Hohners. I like the C so much I have added ... Read More Rating: - HarmonicaVery simple instrument with very limited note capability. Recommend those interested in playing the harmonica buy an instrument with more note playing capability. Rating: - Just what I was looking forI just got my harmonica today so I'm not that great, but this is a terrific harmonica. Not only is the sound quality great but it's also easy to bend notes, even for a guy with a smoker's voice like me. I am very pleased with this harmonica and I will buy Lee Oskar in the future Browse for similar items by category:
