Directions came on the back of the box and were not very detailed, but through trial and error I learned how to set the pattern and the type of spray. My neighbor was quite impressed with the diameter capabilities of the sprinkler. While setting the sprinkler up, it was shooting water across the street and he asked if I was opening a car wash.
