I have fairly high standards when it comes to displays, so I was hesitant to purchase a monitor that may cut corners to trim the price by a few dollars. The price was very reasonable compared to other, similar models. If it was more adjustable I would give it 5 stars. You can only tilt it vertically. For the price it has good features and I was able to fix it to my fairly old system with minimum hassle. However I was not able to get the optimum resolution of 1680x1050 on DVI with my Matrox G550 VGA with 32 MB but it works fine on VGA at the same resolution. But one kind of notices that is not a high-quality monitor. when I extended my Sony Vaio into this Monitor, you could clearly see the difference in resolution, brightness, etc. But still, it's very nice, very cheap and very useful. Last problem: you can't turn it, the base is fixed. Rating: - Big, bright, clear, cheapThis is a nice, cheap monitor that competes in picture quality with much more expensive ones. It was a nice touch to include both DVI and VGA cables so that it's easy to use the monitor with any computer. I haven't used the monitor with any first-person shooter games, but it's plenty fast enough for watching video, even sports, so I imagine it would do fine.
