I suppose Belkin deserves it - my first unit became noisy and I had to have them replace it because the store from which I bought it was too far away to drive back. But the fan really is teriffic. It is not noisy at all. It is as quiet as can be. Read More Rating:  - After 4 mosThis does lift your laptop up and fits your lap nicely, the power cord and place it plugs in is made very cheapy and pushes in when you plug it in. I have taken mine apart at least every month to push the cable back so the cable fits.
