Amazon.com:
To parents, they're the new Hanson. To kids who've been tuning into Radio Disney and flipping the pages of Tiger Beat, they're geniuses. Jonas Brothers, the sophomore effort from the close-knit, close-up ready trio of New Jersey boys, is a mercilessly catchy collection of short but sweet punk- and emo-flavored confections. "Goodnight and Goodbye" grabs hold with guitar-fueled urgency, "Still in Love" borrows from old-school acts like KISS to build a slighter, kid-friendlier brand of classic rock, and "Games" has a respectable go at ska without sacrificing much in the way of pure-pop accessibility. The whole disc follows suit--a couple of ballads slide in ("Hello Beautiful" is a pretty one), but the brothers don't do much to dispel the idea that for them, uptempo ditties are where it's at. Twelve-year-olds, take note: CDVU+, the new format pioneered by Disney, takes cuteness into account; because this disc is configured with bonus material, photos and posters of Nick, Kevin, and Joe are just clicks away. --Tammy La Gorce

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AWESOME.......MUST HAVE!!!
I personally own this cd and it is one of my favorites. I played it so many times that it actually needed a break in order to physically play. Definitely great for any young girl, guy who's into music, and anyone who wants to listen to decent music that is not explicit, and for you, you won't have to worry about your kids listening to this it is very wholesome, good music, with no dirty lyrics ever. I give it 10 of 10 and so do most of my friends!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Jonas Brothers CD
Awesome CD! My daughter loves it & plays it over & over again. Great item & price.....didn't care much for the cardboard style cover but otherwise A+

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - New Jersey's Bee Jays
I say "New Jersey's Bee Jays" because brothers Nicholas,Kevin and Joseph Jonas hail from New Jersey(I wish I knew exactly where, curiously because I'm a New Jersey native myself). This trio,I would say,is Hanson and the Bee Gees both in one. I always have been a Hanson and Bee Gees fan. As for the "Bee Jays",I once said that about the Jackson 5/Jacksons. A decade ago,Hanson was the biggest-selling artist in pop/rock music history and today the Jonases are in that place. Pre-teen and teenage girls ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - :-P
Someone please bring back 1999 and 2000 when the Backstreet Boys and Nsync reigned the pop charts and this squeaky mess of a band didn't. :-P

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This band is different! Honest! They're the next big thing! Buy it!!!
Which is more or less the line from the usual trend [...] sources. What I heard here is the standards of modern music being pushed further down into the ground and recieving another brutal beating. The Jonas Brothers suck, alright. But that's not the real issue. The issue is what are we going to do about the crappy record companies that market this UTTERLY DERIVATIVE effort which has as much difference from Hannah Montanna as Kylie Minogue varied from Jason Donavon back in those days? Ignorant teeny ... Read More
