 Rating:  - Great LensI think this lens is wonderful. That's the first lens that I have bought for my Nikon D40, and I am satisfy. I do photography as a hobby, and this lens has taught me how to use manual mode. This lens is affordable and anyone who is starting photography should get one. Great deal, great buy........ As another reviewer noted, there is purple haloing at long distances, so the white shirts were notably purple along the edges in some shots.
