Editorial Review: Product Description: The Prism 10x12' Professional Background Stand is constructed of Aluminum providing a light weight stand for transport but as strong as steel to hold several backgrounds at once on the crossbar. The unit is comprised of two stands extending to 9'10" and three 4' crossbar sections for a total of 12'1" width. Extra wide feet on the stands including spreader support provide stability. A heavy duty padded canvas carry bag provides ample protection to the dissassembled stand. The two tripod supports have a universal head capable of supporting studio lighting equipment or the crossbar. The cross bar features low profile end caps which will supplort Prism rolled backdrops.  Rating:  - Not so happyI wish the bad reviews had been on this product earlier. The packaging was horribly damaged upon arrival resulting in the carrying bag being damaged. The construction of the stand is not user friendly. I was looking for a portable system...anything that requires the use of an allen wrench to assemble and disassemble, in my opinion is not portable. The stand is large, clunky and poorly constructed. I will be fighting for my money back. Rating:  - okay standThis stand is okay to start with. It doesn't quite go up the full 10', unless you feel like having your entire backdrop fall over. The cross-bar is a bit odd, but it works. Just don't lose the allen wrench! Read More Rating: - backdrop standThis came to us in one jumbled up mess. It should have been shipped in a box, and wasn't, so the bag was ripped open. Not unzipped. So when Fed Ex got it, they tried to package it better so all the pieces wouldn't roll around their truck, but when we got it we just shook out heads. Someone needs to rethink that one. I'll never buy one again from them. Bite it in the wallet and get something huge for more money. Learned that the hard way on this end. Oh well. Rating: - Save your money! But boy was I wrong. This stand set is very bad. Cheap build, flimsy, rivets are all about to snap in half. Unknown holes were drilled into the crossbar which had metal shavings hanging out, causing a tear in one of my muslins. Total rip off.
