![]() Rating: - So Far, So GoodLoaded well, but just last week had a one year old Western Digital 500GB Pro Edition hard drive fail completely... so, we'll see how this one holds up, but I worry just a bit. Maybe I just got a bad one (500GB), or maybe WD just has so-so quality control..... time will tell. However, this one is nice and small, and I like the "no brick" USB only design... it fits nicely in my safety deposit box where I store it as a safe, safe backup for my 48,000 song iTunes library. Rating: - Fast reliableb but need better interfaceI have bought this disk as a backup disk. it is fast reliable but its backup software need more improvment Rating: - great compact storagesleek and worth the price i have recommended this for many people alreaDY thank u Rating: - HD for DummiesNeeded an external drive for backup purposes. Searched, read reviews, selected this one. I ordered, it came in a timely fashion and in good condition. Worked as advertised. Plug and Play. No techie skills required. I did need to make some changes to be able to backup entire system, but instructions were available and easily followed. Rating: - Not so sure I bought this itemI bought one of these babies a month and a half ago and am not all that pleased. I have several machines that I routinely move information from/to and back up. I needed a reliable and portable solution. I've had several problems with some of my machines ingesting this drive and so am concerned about long-term reliability. If you're considering a disk like this, review all alternatives first! Browse for similar items by category:
