Editorial Review: Description: The creators of CRANK crank up the shock value in this twisted tale of terror that combines pulse- pounding thrills with heart-stopping suspense! Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia) is a brilliant medical student with a promising future in forensics. But when he joins the nation's most prestigious pathology program, he unknowingly becomes a pawn in a terrifying game of death and destruction as his fellow students use their razor-sharp skills to commit unthinkable murders. When the pathological secrets of his colleagues begin to unfold, Ted quickly realizes that what he doesnâ??t know... could kill him. Amazon.com: TV stars Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) and Alyssa Milano (Charmed) make a rare jump to the big screen in this gruesome thriller about unorthodox fun and games in a morgue. Ventimiglia is a med-school grad who discovers a perverse sleuthing game at his new hospital job--one member of a gaggle of fellow residents is selected to carry out a murder of an "undesirable," and the others must determine the cause of death. Since Ventimiglia's own bedside manner is only slightly north of amoral, he falls in quickly with the homicidal crew, only to discover that it's less easy to extricate one's self from the competition. Filmed with an appropriately clinical eye by German director Marc Schoelermann, Pathology suffers from a riotously bad script loaded with clunky dialogue and an unpleasant premise which is mined solely for the opportunity to show scene after scene of autopsies and post-mortem surgery. Gorehounds may groove on its blithe ugliness; all others will wonder why they should be asked to care about the fates of such one-dimensional and mean-spirited people. --Paul Gaita Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - The lesser of the two evils!!!This movie follows Ted, a fresh internship grad into his first year at a very unorthodox pathology program. The stellar student soon falls prey to an unusual "game" being played by the "best" in the class. Can he recover from this? This movie was a pleasant surprise because the intensity did not let up, and had several plot twists that were predictable in some aspects, but how it got to it was different. Ted is not the typical good guy by anymeans, and despite some of the things he does ... Read More Rating: - It's OK.I'm not crazy over Milo Ventimiglia's work and only know him from the show Heroes in his role as Peter Petrelli. He's good in that role but I still find him annoying with his raspy "look how mysterious I am" voice and his floppy bottom lip. I just can't take him seriously and although he does seem to be trying to branch into more prominant acting roles, he's still that annoying Peter Petrelli. Michael Watson who's the general catalyst of the whole movie I only know him for his short part in season ... Half of you wants to keep watching while the other half goes "oh my god?!" and wants you to look away. This is an interesting look at life and death through the context of a murder-mystery thriller. Fans of Milo V. should check this one out and those who want a different movie experience and are not weak of stomach should watch this one. Overall: B+/A- Rating: - Pathology the ThrillerPathology is a great thriller movie. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing the entire movie. There are some gory parts in the movie BUT they are not too gory or too overdone. If you love medical shows then I recommend this movie. This movie is a hospital morgue gone WRONG. Pathology is definetely creative and twisted but it is a new movie with a new plot. I highly recommend Pathology if you like a good thriller. Also you can't forget the great cast including Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) ... Read More Rating: - Warped and twisted, but lacking in dramaPathology follows the path of Peter Petrelli-I mean Dr. Ted Grey, a recent medical student who becomes involved in a homicidal game among his new peers at the penultimate pathology hospital in the country. Compounding this is his affair with one of his psychotic new coworkers while simultaneously juggling his relationship with his now long distance fiancee, as well as a budding drug addiction. The acting in this movies is good, and by good I mean very disturbing. Grey starts off as a genuinely ... Read More Browse for similar items by category:
