I was a bit worried because other reviews mentioned heating problems. Given the fact that I have used other Iomega products, I purchased them anyway. There have not been any problems in the month I have been using the drives, and heating is DEFINITELY NOT a problem. My only regret is that I did not opt for a tera-byte drive.
