Rating: - Great product! This is a wonderful labeller. Very good quality and nice software. Software and drivers were easy to install. Seriously, it's a very good product and a good buy. Rating: - P-touch LabelerThe P-touch PT-1950 from Brother has performed as expected and the little advertised fact that it can be controlled from your PC is the greatest feature. The software is so easy to use that I have not used the labeler's keyboard since I received the machine. This is an excellent value for a minimum outlay. Rating: - Review of brother p-touchThis product works great with the computer. Easy to type using different fonts and tape selection is great also. A very good deal in my books. Rating: - Couldn't believe the price and free shippingAlways wanted one and at the low price and free shipping I can't believe I didn't buy more than one. Rating: - Nice product - bad driversNice product but they need help in writing USB printer drivers. It only works on one laptop that has nothing else installed to the USB port. It doesn't work on my desktop machines that have a lot of things that use the USB ports - and all these other things have no problems at all. 3 sessions with Brother - escalating further up the tech chain each time did not fix the problem. This included a remote operation session with one of their techs. Basically redid everything I already did and stopped short of - but recommended - totally uninstalling and reinstalling my USB system drivers/ports - this would have probably gotten the label printer working - but would have broken everything else that I use on USB. This label printer is just not that high a use priority for me to sacrifice all other USB function. They need to reexamine their drivers and make them more tolerant of other USB users/uses. I repeat - my USB ports work fine for the several other items I use on them - so which application do you think has the problem? |
