Get the power addapter. Stores away and travels easily. It was a great value. If he sticks with it I will eventually upgrade but I am glad I found an affordable starter as kids are fickle! It is a little louder than I would like but that is my only complaint. Rating:  - power problemsI bought this keyboard and returned it rght away when the sound fritzed out after a day. I got the new one (great customer service from Amazon), put in new batteries and was thrilled, it's just right for a beginner. But after less than 24 hours the batteries are, I guess, used up? The ragged electronic sound is back now on the second keyboard. How can that be? It should come with an adaptor and/or make clear that this is really necessary if it goes through batteries this fast. I'd rather have an adaptor than the cheap microphone headset. It was only turned on while I used it, for no more than 6-8 hours total. Rating:  - The perfect size for an adolescentI purchased this for my nephew's 12th birthday, as he's been asking for a keyboard for several years. He seems to be very happy with it, and it works well. Has a lot of different features that he can play around with. I'm sure it will provide him hours of entertainment for years to come. Rating:  - Worked for six weeksThe keyboard was a Christmas present and worked great for about six weeks, at which point the sound became so fuzzy and distorted that it is unusable. Naturally the seller only accepts returns for 30 days. Rating: - Casio SA75 KeyboardWe bought this item for our 7 year old grand daughter and she loves it. The headset microphone is a big hit withe her and her 9 year old sister. Christmas afternoon we could hear the playing and singing in their room. |
