Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love it!
I bought this for my 4 year old instead of the FP keyboard. Such a good move. It sounds great and keeps his interest (and his parents love to play it too!). I love how the display shows the notes. The ONLY minor complaint so far is that it defaults to the loudest setting. If it defaulted to the lowest setting it'd be perfect!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works as expected
I bought the keyboard for my 5-year-old son. The keyboard is light weight and therefore easy to carry. Small and convenient for my son to play anywhere. I am using batteries and really enjoy the freedom of movement, i.e. not needing to worry about plugging it into a power source. It's an excellent choice for my situation.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - best keyboard & super fast (and cheap) shipping
This merchant was super fast shipping. The product was perfect for my 7-year-old niece...the keyboard fits on a desk top or can have a stand...perfect for small but ambitious fingers...it could be the start of a wonderful musical career. the keyboard itself plays great and looks great too!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great for the money, but needs lower volume level setting.
For just a little more than a toy keyboard you can get something that really works. This keyboard can do up to four notes at once, so children can learn about both chords and melodies. The sound quality is better than I expected considering the price, and it run on nice cheap AA batteries that can be bought in bulk. Battery changing is easy.

The one downside is that the lowest volume level isn't all that low. It's impossible to just play this quitely at a volume level low enough so that only the one playing can hear. Also, it comes with a microphone, and when that is plugged in, the sound can be heard all over the house with the volume set to it's lowest level.

So, it's a nice way to introduce children to music, but it's a loud way because it doesn't allow a truly low volume setting.
