When I received my boots they were MADE IN CHINA!! I wrote to UGG Australia to complain about the boots being made in china here is there reply: Thank you for your below inquiry on the country of manufacture of UGG brand boots. As you note, most UGG Classics are now made in China. Our Australian sources simply could not handle the volume of boots we now manufacture. The vast majority of sheepskin used to manufacture Classics in China, however, continues to come from Australia. Also, our quality standards have not changed - the boots we make in China are as high (if not higher) in quality than anything we have ever made. We also continue to make some UGG brand footwear in Australia and New Zealand. The UGG Ultra short, Ultra tall, Sundance ll and Nightfall, for example, are all made in New Zealand. Some scuffs and slippers are made in Australia Rating: - Like House Slippers To Wear In The Snow and Ice UGG boots are comfortable from the moment you pull them on and as other reviewers have said they are almost like house slippers it is respectable to wear in public. Like other UGG products you probably will need to order a size smaller than what you usually buy. I usually wear a 9 and an 8 UGG fits me perfectly. There is no need to wear socks with UGG boots even in cold weather and though they keep your feet warm in the snow and ice they also somehow magically don't make your feet all hot and sweaty in an overheated room either. There are many UGG copies out there for less money but they really don't have the quality or comfort the genuine UGG brand boots have. During the winter these boots keep the heat in and keep your toes warm. The lining is so soft and cozy. I haven't had a hard time keeping these boots clean, despite wearing them in all weathers.
