Rating:  - A good deal for the moneyI bought this clarinet for my 10 year old daughter. I used to play myself, so I was pretty sure what I was looking for. I ordered the clarinet with a little hesitation because we have all heard "never buy an instrument online". But I took a chance and have been pleased so far. The clarinet has a full rich sound. The only thing that I can think of is that the ligature is quite cheap. If you buy this you may want to replace it. Also the case has some rubber end pieces on it and I found those to be scuffed up a bit. But I am giving this to a 10 year old after all. I took a test run on it and found it to be in tune and easily reached the upper registers. It does disassemble with some difficulty, but I believe that will improve as the cork gets "broken in". Overall I think that this is a good deal for the money. If you're looking for a clarinet I think this is a good starter. page 1 of 1
