Rating: - Amazing workoutI have had this DVD for a little over three weeks, and if weight loss and toning is what you're looking for, then this is for you! As a college student, it makes a GREAT dorm room workout, especially if you're trying to lose that "Freshman 15" you've gained! Jillian is REALLY tough, but the exercises are fun and short and the results really are worth it. I would highly recommend this to any woman trying to lose weight. Rating: - Being ShreddedWOW...this is a 20 minute workout packed with a PUNCH!!! Perfect if you only have a small amount of time to work out. The first level is tough. But if your diligent and stick with it, you will feel yourself getting stronger pretty quickly. I don't recommend this for people who don't work out at all. It would be difficult to keep up. Rating: - Good but you'll need to upgrade. I bought the DVD based on the positive reviews. If you are out of shape, the way I was, it is a good way to start getting back into shape. My daughter and I both did the level one workout and we were both sore for a few days. It went against everything I have ever learned, to do the same workout every day without a break, but I stuck with it, and after only 1 week, I could see and feel the difference. I was able to switch to level 2 on day 7, and to level 3 by day 15. When level three became two easy, I ordered Jillian's other workout series. Now I do that 5 days per week and level 2 and 3 of this workout on the weekends. I can't believe how strong my legs and stomach have become, and how much fat I have lost in less than 30 days. The best part is, it takes less than 30 minutes to do. You definitely get a full workout in that time, since she combines upper body workout with lower at the same time. Your legs burn if you do it right. The only complaint I have, is that it is impossible to fast forward through the intro, but I use this time to set up my weights and mat, and put my shoes on. I didn't lose the 20 pounds that the cover of the DVD claims I could lose (I only needed to lose 10 and I have so far lost 5), but it was well worth the $10. Rating: - BoringI found this workout way too boring. The third stage was somewhat tough but it wasn't something I would want to do over and over again. I would recommend the Women's Health videos rather than this. Rating: - Love it!I thought I would get bored doing the same workout every day, but each level is so quick and the exercises vary so quickly that I never get sick of it! This work out is both difficult for the advanced exercisers and easy for the newcomers. I noticed a difference in my appearance and my endurance within my first four days! I would definitely recommend this video to anyone looking to improve their overall fitness. |
