The laser provides pinpoint accuracy on the surface that is being measured. I found the readings to be very accurate +/- 2 degrees for an instrument in this price range. Let's you know what temp your frying pans are at, etc. Rating: - Does what it saysShipped very quickly. Build quality isn't top notch, but for the price it's satisfactory. But as an Infrared thermometer it works exceptionally well. It's accurate, gives instant spot readings over all types of surfaces and temperature ranges. It's a joy to use. Point and shoot and you know instantly if your air-con's working correctly, where the draughts are, and how hot is the radiator? Like it a lot. Will get a more durable (and expensive) thermometer next year. Great budget tool! |
