Rating:  - Sadly-NO stars!I was SO excited about the concept of this pasta cooking product! However, not only is it a tiny plastic container, it is a product that scared me away from using it! The odor of plastic, even after trying to "season" it away, was overwhelming! The thought of plastic toxins going into food was frightening! Horrible smell! Not sturdy! I rate this not 1 star, but, NO stars and think it should be pulled off the market. Rating: - Poor product not worth the moneyI've used this product over & over, and still keep coming up with the same result- pasta that is either over done or not cooked thoroughly. Ends of noodles are hard, middle of noodles are mushy. I can't for the life of me figure out how this product has gotten any stars- I'd give it zero stars if I could. It's been a total waste of money. I should have purchased the other pasta cooker that is getting such great reviews on Amazon- I thought Pasta n More would cook more and it also came with a cookbook, so I thought it was a better deal. Boy, was I WRONG!!! Rating:  - Works great for pasta items if not the moreEnough of the griping already! This works for me to make pasta and drain it without having to use a separate colander. Yes, the elevation tray is too high to fit into my microwave but, so what? This is cheap and even though I can't make all the items they list in the cookbook I think I could if I were able. No, I don't work for this company but yes, I recommend this for everyone. Rating:  - Skip this oneThought this would be a great item to free up stovetop space when making more than one batch of lasagna. I followed all the directions and even shortened the cooking time by 1.5 minutes knowing I had a newer powerful microwave oven. I ended up with lasagna noodles that were brown on the ends. I hate to waste a lot of noodles testing the time used to cook. The directions did not include the microwave setting so I had to assume I needed to set it for full power. Would have been nice to have included a minimum and maximum time in the directions. Rating:  - works well for more then pastaAs for pasta, I have not used it for more then boxed mac & cheese...turned out well. Used it for baked potatoes. I have had a hard time for years either in the oven or in microwave they were undercooked or hard. It takes 20 min's for two large or med ones but....my husband says they are the best BP's he has had in a long time, and I agree! Have yet to use it on other vegies but think it will be fine. I did not give it 5 stars as I agree...the instructions are very poor and skimpy! |
